Ingredients:

• Moong dal – 1/4 cup
• Toor Dal – 1/4 cup
• Channa dal – 1/4 cup
• Masoor dal – 1/4 cup| Cloves – 4
• Cardamom – 2
• Cinnamon sticks – 1″ piece
• Onions – 2
• Tomatoes – 1
• Green chillies – 2
• Ginger and Garlic paste – 1 tsp
• Mint leaves – few
• Salt to taste
• Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Saute:
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Pressure cook all the ingredients till the dal is done.
  2. In a vessel pour oil and splutter mustard and jeera and then add the cooked dal.
  3. Keep on stove for about 15 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Sprinkle a little chopped coriander and serve.
