Ingredients:

• 2 litre – milk.
• 200 gms – rice.
• 200 gms – soft jaggery.
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder.
• 1/4 tsp – Nutmeg powder.
• 2 tbsp – chopped almonds.
• 2 tbsp – chopped pistachios.
• 6-7 strands of Kesar.

Method:

  1. Wash rice and let it dry.
  2. Boil milk for 15 minutes.
  3. Add rice and let it cook till milk thickens and rice is cooked.
  4. Add kesar, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
  5. Add jaggery and mix well till jaggery melts.
  6. Remove from fire.
  7. Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
