Ingredients:

• Prawns – 1/2 cup.
• Mushrooms – 1/2 cup.
• Dark Soya sauce – 2 tsp.
• Salt and pepper – to taste.
• Corn flour – 1 tsp.
• Egg white – 1| For Sauce:
• oil – 1 tbsp.
• Garlic – 1 tbsp, minced.
• Chilli paste – 1 tsp.
• Dark soya sauce – 1 tsp.
• Salt – to taste.
• Sugar – 1 tsp.
• Corn flour – 1 tbsp.
• aji-no-moto – 1/2 tsp.

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients.
  2. Marinate for 1/2 hr.
  3. Deep fry in hot oil, drain and keep aside.
  4. Method for sauce:
  5. Mix corn flour with 1 cup water, soya sauce, sugar, ajinomoto and salt.
  6. Heat oil and fry garlic till brown.
  7. Add prawns / mushrooms and chilli paste, and fry for 1 minute.
  8. Add the corn flour mix and simmer for 2-3 mins.
  9. Serve hot with noodles or fried rice.
