Ingredients:

• 50 – Limes
• 100 gms – Dry Red Chillies without seeds
• 3 pieces – Ginger
• 3 pods (whole) – Garlic
• 3 sticks – Cinnamon
• 10 – Cloves
• 1 cup – Vinegar
• 250 gms – Plums
• 1.5 tsp – Sugar
• 3 tbsp – Salt or to taste.

Method:

  1. Cut the limes into pieces and remove all the seeds.
  2. Grind the masala (red chillies, ginger, garlic, cinnamon ) in vinegar.
  3. Add sugar and salt, and keep aside.
  4. Add the masala to the lime pieces.
  5. Mix well and keep on fire.
  6. Add plums and vinegar to taste and boil for 15 minutes.
