Ingredients:

• 4 – raw Tomatoes
• 4 – green chillies, slit
• 1 inch – Ginger piece
• 1 tsp – cumin
• Salt to taste
• A pinch – Turmeric
• 3 tbsp – white sesame seeds powder roasted and powdered
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Seasoning
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/4 tsp – mustard
• 1/4 tsp – cumin
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1/2 tsp – Channa dal
• 1 – Garlic crushed
• A pinch – Asafoetida
• 1/2 – Red Chilli
• 1 sprig – Curry leaves

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry, green chillies, ginger, cumin and set aside
  2. In the same pan, fry tomatoes and turmeric till mushy
  3. Once cool, pulse all the ingredients except sesame seed powder
  4. Then add sesame seed powder, pulse it again.
  5. Season with seasoning ingredients.
