Roomali Roti is Punjabi recipe, which is eaten with Punjabi sabji. As compared to normal chapatti or roti, Roomali Roti is made from maida. Roomali Roti is very thin layered chapatti style which is very yummy and taste best. Let’s make a Roomali Roti at home.

Ingredients

For Roomali Roti

– 2 cup maida
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 2 tablespoon oil
– Salt to taste
– 1/2 cup warm water

For Curd Yeast

– 3 cup maida
– 1/2 cup warm curd
– 1/2 tablespoon sugar
– 1/2 tablespoon soda
– 2 tablespoon warm water

How To Make?

1. Take a bowl and collect all the Ingredients of the curd yeast.
2. Mix all these Ingredients and leave it in a warm place overnight.
3. To make Roomali Roti, mix the maida with sugar, salt and 2 tablespoon oil. Knead it well. Then add overnight stored curd yeast and warm milk to it.
4. Again knead it well.
5. Now, keep it aside for 30 minutes.
6. After that roll out the dough and make very thin layered chapatis.
7. Put the Roomali Roti on deep hot tava and cook it till it becomes slightly golden brown.i Roti on deep hot tava and cook it till it becomes slightly golden brown.
