Ingredients:

• 3 cups – apples (finely grated)
• 3- Cloves
• 1- Cinnamon stick
• 1/2 cup – Honey
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice.

Method:

  1. Cook the grated apples, honey and sugar in a heavy bottomed pan until it starts boiling.
  2. Then simmer with cloves and cinnamon sticks until it thickens.
  3. Now remove the spices and add the lemon juice and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Keep aside and let it cool.
  5. Serve with bread or pancakes.
