Ingredients:
• 300 g – Flour
• 100 g – Butter
• 1 – Egg, beaten
• 100 g – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – Green food color
• 1/2 tsp – Vanilla essence
• 1/2 cup – Milk
Method:
- Rub butter into the sifted flour and baking powder with fingertips.
- Mix in the egg, vanilla essence, food colour, milk and knead to a soft dough.
- Set aside for 1 hour then rollout the dough and cut into fancy shapes with cookie cutters or a knife placed on a greased baking tray.
- Bake on medium heat for about 30 minutes till slightly brown on top.
- Sprinkle sugar on top while still hot.
