Ingredients:
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves, wash well without the stalks
• 1 bunch – Pudina/mint leaves, wash well without the stalks
• 8 to 10 – Green chillies (this you can vary as per your tolerance to spice)
• 1 small ball – Tamarind, soaked in water
• 6 to 7 – Garlic flakes (peeled)
• 5 to 6 – medium sized Onions diced
• 1 small piece – ginger, peeled and chopped
• salt to taste
Method:
- Mix all the above ingredients along with a little water and grind to fine paste in a mixer.
- Serve with cucumber slices or raw mango slices.
- You may even squeeze some lime juice over it when serving it with cucumber.
- Note:
- This is a very popular chutney used by the street vendors to smear cucumber, raw mango slices, or even used for making bhelpuri.
- This can even be used as a sandwich paste between slices of bread and vegetables.
