Ingredients:
• Kabuli Chana-2 cups
• Cardamom-2 nos.
• Cloves-4 nos.
• Ginger-Garlic paste-1 tbsp
• 1 onion-chopped
• Coriander powder-4 tsp
• Chana masala powder-3 tsp
• Cumin seeds-2 tsp (light rosted)
• 1/2 tsp- Garam Masala
• 1/4 tsp- Black pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp- Red chilly powder
• Tamarind paste-3 tbsp
• salt to taste.
Method:
- Soak Kabuli chana in water overnight; Drain the next morning.
- Heat oil in cooker. Add chopped onion, cardamom, clove, ginger-garlic paste along with kabuli chana.
- Add water and pressure cook for 5 mins.
- Remove from heat and add salt, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, chana masala, tamarind pulp, black pepper powder and mix well.
- Make paste of some kabuli chana. Add back to the chana.
- Pressure cook for another 2 mins. Remove from heat and garnish with green coriander leaves, onion and tomato.
