Ingredients:

• 3 cups – boiled macaroni
• 1.5 cups – grated cheese
• 2 – eggs
• 1 cup – Milk
• A dash – tabasco or tomato-chilli sauce
• A dash – worcestershire sauce (optional)
• 1 – Tomato (large, sliced) (optional)
• salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Take one cup of boiled macaroni and place it like a layer in a microwave-safe, flat-bottomed dish.
  2. Top with a layer of grated cheese.
  3. Repeat with the remaining layers of macaroni and cheese, ending with the cheese on top.
  4. Lightly beat the eggs in milk, add a dash of tobacco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour it evenly over the macaroni.
  6. If you are using tomato slices, spread them evenly over the macaroni.
  7. Cook covered, at 80 per cent power for 8 minutes or till the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Serve hot.
