Ingredients:
• For Stuffing:
• Cabbage (fresh) – 1 cup (finely grated)
• Cheddar Cheese or any type of cheese you like – 1/2 cup (finely grated)
• Green chillies- 2-3 (finely chopped)
• Ginger – 1/2 tsp (finely grated)
• Garam Masala – 1 tsp
• Paprika powder – 1/2 tsp
• Salt as per taste
• Ghee or Butter – 3 tbsp
• Lemon juice -1 tsp
• Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
• For Dough:
• Wheat flour – 1 cup
• Maida or all purpose flour – 1 cup
• Ghee – 1/2 tbsp
• Salt as per taste
• Warm water to make dough
Method:
- Take a bowl. Add wheat flour, maida, salt, melted ghee and make dough with warm water.
- Keep kneading the dough for 15 minutes until soft. Cover it let it stand for half an hour.
- Take the grated cabbage and squeeze out all the water in it.
- Heat a pan on a medium flame. Add the cabbage and all other ingredients except cheese and lemon juice.
- Fry until raw smell of the vegetable goes.
- Now remove from the flame, allow it to cool down and then add lemon juice and cheese. Mix it well.
- Take the dough and make medium or small size balls. Flatten it, keep 1 tsp of stuffing in it and seal it properly.
- Then roll it using a little maida flour into parathas.
- Heat a griddle, cook these parathas till golden brown in colour on both the sides..
