Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – ladies finger
• 350 g – Onion
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – chili powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – dry Mango powder
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash and wipe the ladies finger dry. Cut each one into 3 pieces.
  2. Peel and slice the onions finely. Place in a microwave safe bowl and pour oil on top.
  3. Cook without covering for 5-7 minutes, stirring twice .
  4. Add ladies fingers and salt. Mix well and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  5. Add chili, turmeric and garam masala powders.
  6. Cook without covering till ladies fingers are cooked, about 5-6 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala on top and serve as side dish with steamed rice/ chapathi and dal.
