Ingredients:
• 1 cup- peel of Bottle Gourd
• 5 or 6 Green chillies
• 3 tsp- moong dal
• 1/2 tsp- Jeera
• Tamarind (lollipop size)- soaked in water
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp- chopped Garlic
• 1 tsp- coriander leaves, chopped
• 1/2 tsp- Turmeric (optional)
Method:
- Take peel of bottle gourd and wash it. Dry them on tissue and fry it in two tbsp oil. Add green chillies, moongdal, jeera (cumin).
- Fry it for 3 to 4 minutes and grind with soaked tamarind.
- Heat two tsp oil in kadai add minced garlic and coriander leaves to it. Add turmeric. Pour over the ground chutney.
- This chutney tastes good with rice.
