Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – boneless fish cubes
• 1 tsp – Pepper
• 2 tsp – Lemon juice
• A pinch – Yellow food coloring
• 1 tsp – Salt
• For Coating:
• 1 cup – Gram flour
• 1 – Egg
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1/2 tsp – Salt and chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – Sesame seeds
• Bread crumbs (Optional)

Method:

  1. Wash the fish and marinate it with salt, pepper, lemon juice and yellow food coloring for two hours.
  2. To make batter:
  3. Mix gram flour, egg, salt, chilli powder, sesame seeds, bread crumbs and cardamom powder in a bowl.
  4. Coat the cubes in the batter and fry till crispy.
  5. Drain on tissue paper.
  6. Serve with yoghurt.
