
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Mutton
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 5 cup – water
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 5 – Onions
• 1/2 kg – Rice
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 3 pods – Cardamoms
• 3 sticks – Cinnamon
• 6 – Cloves
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Cut the meat into big 1-inch pieces and wash.
- Heat two tbsps ghee in a big pan and put meat in it. Saute.
- When it is brown and dry, add 4 cups of hot water and salt to taste.
- Cover with a lid and allow to boil till the meat is soft and cooked.
- Cut the onions into thin slices and fry them in a frying pan till brown. Drain and keep aside.
- Wash the rice.
- Heat remaining ghee in a vessel, and put the rice in.
- Stir frequently till it becomes brown.
- Then add the liquid the meat was cooked in and spices.
- If needed add enough water to come 1-inch above the rice.
- Boil till the rice is almost cooked.
- Then add the meat and mix.
- Put the dish in a microwave oven and cook it till done.
- Spread the fried onion on the rice as garnishing.
