Ingredients:
• 3 cups – Wheat flour
• 2 tsp – besan (gram flour)
• 1/2 pack – spinach, chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 cup – chopped Onions (optional)
• 3 tsps – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – dhania-jeera powder
• 3-4 – Green chillies
• Turmeric powder, Hing (optional)
• 1 tsp – sesame seeds (til)
• Salt
Method:
- Mix the spinach with green chillies and chopped onion (optional).
- Put them in the blender, adding very little water and grind to a paste.
- Add wheat flour, besan, salt, hing powder, turmeric powder, dhania-jeera powder, red chilli powder, til, garlic paste and heated oil to the paste.
- Knead it by adding warm water (if required) and prepare a dough.
- Let the dough rise for about an hour.
- Make 10 balls of the same size from it.
- Roll them into round parathas (a little thicker than chapattis) with a rolling pin.
- Put these parathas on the pre-heated pan and roast them by applying oil/ butter on both sides.
- Serve with tomato chutney/ pickle/ curd.
