Ingredients:
• 1 – Egg
• 1 slice – white or brown bread
• salt to taste
• pepper to taste
• Butter or oil for frying
Method:
- Melt the butter in a non-stick pan and break the egg into it.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the slice of bread over the half-done egg and press slightly.
- When the underside of the egg is done, flip the whole thing over and continue to fry until the bread turns golden brown.
- Serve hot with the bread-side up.
