Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Rice flour
• 1.25 cups – water
• 1 tbsp – grated Coconut
• 2 tsp – moong dal
• 2 tsp – Bengal Gram dal
• Ghee
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak the moong dal and Bengal gram dal in water for half an hour.
- Heat water in a bowl, add some salt to it. When it boils, simmer the heat, add the rice flour and mix quickly.
- Remove from flame and keep aside for ten minutes.
- Then add a little cold water, 2 tsp of oil, soaked moong dal, Bengal gram dal, and coconut, and knead the dough till smooth
- Make small balls with the dough and press it using a chapatti maker (it should be slightly thick).
- Place these on a well-greased plate, smear some ghee, and steam for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot with urad dal chutney.
