Ingredients:

• 5 to 6 – slices of bread
• 1 cup – fresh buttermilk
• salt to taste
• oil for frying
• Chopped finely and mixed together:
• 1 Onion and 1 Tomato (medium size)
• 2 to 3 – Green chillies
• fresh Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Heat non-stick tava, smear a little oil and spread a little onion-tomato mixture.
  2. Take 1 slice of bread and dip it in the butter milk, squeeze gently and put on tava, smear a little oil, cook till golden brown, turn over and cook on other side till golden brown.
  3. Serve hot.
