Ingredients:

• 250 g – Flour
• 250 g – Butter or margarine
• 200 g – Powdered Sugar
• 2 – Eggs, beaten
• 1 tsp – Vanilla essence
• 3 tbsp – Milk
• 1 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon powder

Method:

  1. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together.
  2. Cream the butter/margarine and sugar together.
  3. Add the beaten eggs, milk, salt, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence and mix well.
  4. Fold in the flour, a little at a time.
  5. Add a little more milk if the mixture is too thick.
  6. Grease two baking trays and place tsp of the batter on each, leaving enough space between them to allow the mixture to spread during baking.
  7. Bake in a moderate oven for about 15 to 20 minutes till golden brown.
