Ingredients:

• Tuvar dal -1 cup
• Rice -3 cups
• Red Chillies -3
• Hing – a pinch
• Butter – 25 gms
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry

Method:

  1. Soak tuvar dal and rice overnight.
  2. The next day, grind them finely without water.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together to get a stiff dough.
  4. Heat oil in a shallow pan. Put some dough into the ribbon pakoda mould and squeeze out directly on the oil carefully.
  5. Fry till it turns a golden brown and remove.
  6. Drain out on a tissue paper and store in an airtight container when cool.
