Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – tender Bitter gourd
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – cumin powder.

Method:

  1. Scrape and wash the bitter gourd then cut them into thin slices.
  2. Soak the slices in salt water for about 2 hours.
  3. Drain and squeeze out the excess water.
  4. Mix with the chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the bitter gourd slices till golden brown and crisp.
