Ingredients:

• 4 – potatoes, peeled and chopped into quarters
• 2 – slit Green chillies
• 2 tsp – pepper powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – crushed Garlic
• 2 – big onions, sliced
• 2 tbsp – Coconut paste or 1 cup Coconut Milk
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil the potatoes and all the ingredients with 5 cups of water in a large vessel on high heat for about 15 minutes.
  2. Lower the heat and simmer for at least one hour till the potatoes are very soft and the soup is nice and thick.
  3. Garnish with chopped mint leaves and serve hot with fried bread or toast.
