Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Chicken
• 2 tsp – Ginger paste
• 2 tsp – Garlic paste
• Salt according to taste
• 1 tsp – freshly crushed black pepper
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 5 to 6 – tomatoes, medium size
• 3 to 4 – whole Green chillies
• 4 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Add the chicken in a pot with garlic and ginger.
  2. Leave on medium heat for the water to dry.
  3. When the chicken has softened, add everything including the oil, but except green chillies and tomatoes.
  4. Increase the heat and cook for a while.
  5. Then add green chillies and tomatoes.
  6. Lower the heat and cook covered for 5-10 mins.
  7. When the tomatoes have softened, increase the heat and evaporate all the water.
  8. The end result should be with very little gravy.
  9. Serve with nan.
