Ingredients:
• 250 g – Refined flour
• 50 g – custard powder
• 1/3 tsp – baking powder
• 150 g – Ghee
• 150 g – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Pineapple essence
• 100 g each – Cashewnuts and tutti frutti
• A few tbsp – Milk
Method:
- Beat sugar and ghee until you get a nice paste (about 15-20 mins).
- Mix together pineapple essence, sieved maida, custard powder, and baking power.
- Then mix it with the sugar and ghee paste.
- Add cashew pieces and tutti frutti to the dough.
- Mix well, add some milk if needed, and make a fine dough.
- Cut into squares, brush with milk, decorate with cashews and bake at 250 degrees C till golden brown.
