Ingredients:

• 250 g – Refined flour
• 50 g – custard powder
• 1/3 tsp – baking powder
• 150 g – Ghee
• 150 g – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Pineapple essence
• 100 g each – Cashewnuts and tutti frutti
• A few tbsp – Milk

Method:

  1. Beat sugar and ghee until you get a nice paste (about 15-20 mins).
  2. Mix together pineapple essence, sieved maida, custard powder, and baking power.
  3. Then mix it with the sugar and ghee paste.
  4. Add cashew pieces and tutti frutti to the dough.
  5. Mix well, add some milk if needed, and make a fine dough.
  6. Cut into squares, brush with milk, decorate with cashews and bake at 250 degrees C till golden brown.
