Ingredients:

• 4 – eggs
• 1.5 cups – light Brown sugar
• 2 tbsp – melted Butter
• 2 tbsp – Canola Oil
• 1.5 tsp – vanilla
• 1 cup – all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup – cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1/3 cup – powdered Sugar
• 1/4 cup – chopped nuts
• margarine/vegetable oil

Method:

  1. Beat the egg with brown sugar until quite frothy.
  2. Beat in the butter, oil, and vanilla and work until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
  3. Sift the dry ingredients together and use a whisk to gently stir them into the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Lightly oil a pan and spread the batter out evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.
  6. Let it cool completely before cutting.
  7. Sift a little powdered sugar on the top after cutting but before serving.
