Ingredients:
• Rice flour – 5 cups
• Urad Dal – 1 cup
• Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Butter – 2 tbsp
• Oil for frying
Method:
- Cook urad dal and grind it finely.
- Mix it with the rice flour, butter, salt and cumin seeds (and a little water if needed) to make a soft, non-sticky dough.
- Press the dough through a chakli press (with the circular holes) into medium hot oil.
- Fry till crispy, drain and serve.
