Ingredients:

• roasted vermicelli – 2 cup
• Cashew nuts – 3 tbsp, split
• Raisins – 3 tbsp
• Cinnamon 2 pieces
• Orange juice – 1.5 cup
• water – 1.5 cup
• Sugar – 1/2 cup
• Apple – 1/2 cup, peeled and chopped
• Pineapple – 1/2 cup, peeled and chopped
• seedless green Grapes – 1/2 cup
• seedless black Grapes – 1/2 cup
• Ghee or oil – 3 tbsp
• Cloves 3

Method:

  1. Heat oil in non-stick pan.
  2. Add cloves and cinnamon.
  3. After few seconds, add cashew nuts.
  4. Just as they begin to turn pale brown, add raisins.
  5. When the raisins puff up, add vermicelli, orange juice and water.
  6. Cover and cook on mode flame till all the liquid is absorbed.
  7. Add sugar. Cook stirring till sugar is dissolved.
  8. Continue to cook till the sugar thickens and coats vermicelli (like halwa).
  9. Add the fruits, mix well and remove from fire.
  10. Serve hot or cold.
