
Ingredients:
• roasted vermicelli – 2 cup
• Cashew nuts – 3 tbsp, split
• Raisins – 3 tbsp
• Cinnamon 2 pieces
• Orange juice – 1.5 cup
• water – 1.5 cup
• Sugar – 1/2 cup
• Apple – 1/2 cup, peeled and chopped
• Pineapple – 1/2 cup, peeled and chopped
• seedless green Grapes – 1/2 cup
• seedless black Grapes – 1/2 cup
• Ghee or oil – 3 tbsp
• Cloves 3
Method:
- Heat oil in non-stick pan.
- Add cloves and cinnamon.
- After few seconds, add cashew nuts.
- Just as they begin to turn pale brown, add raisins.
- When the raisins puff up, add vermicelli, orange juice and water.
- Cover and cook on mode flame till all the liquid is absorbed.
- Add sugar. Cook stirring till sugar is dissolved.
- Continue to cook till the sugar thickens and coats vermicelli (like halwa).
- Add the fruits, mix well and remove from fire.
- Serve hot or cold.
