Ingredients:
• 400 grams fish fingers cut into bite size strips
• For the marinade:
• 2 tsp Ginger paste
• 2 tsp fresh black pepper paste (prepared out of fresh pepper if possible; if not, use pepper powder
• 3 tsp Lemon juice
• 2 tbsp Mustard oil
• Salt to taste
• For the batter and covering:
• 2 beaten eggs
• 2 cups breadcrumbs
• Oil for deep frying
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the fish fingers and keep aside for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the batter by beating the eggs. Spread the breadcrumbs on a plate and heat the oil in a pan.
- Pick each of the fish fingers, dip in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and fry each finger turning once or twice till crispy and golden brown.
