
Ingredients:
• 2 kg – gooseberries (the star variety)
• 3 kg – Sugar
• 1/2 kg – raisins, minced finely
• 1 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 3 liters – boiled and cooled water
Method:
- Lightly crush the gooseberries.
- Mix all the ingredients together and store in a porcelain jar for 21 days stirring it every day.
- Strain the wine on the 22nd day.
- Add caramelized sugar to get the desired colour and bottle it.
- This wine should be used within a month.
