Ingredients:

• 200 g – Dates (seedless)
• 1 tsp – Wheat flour
• 4 tsp – Brown sugar
• A pinch – Cardamom
• Ghee
• Cashew nuts

Method:

  1. Wash and soak the dates in water for 1 hour.
  2. Grind to a paste, adding a little water if necessary.
  3. Roast 1 tsp of wheat flour till it turns light brown.
  4. Add the dates paste, and 3 tsp water.
  5. Cover and cook for a while and then add 4 tsp of sugar.
  6. Stir it for 10 minutes, adding some ghee.
  7. Fry the cashew nuts and cardamom in the ghee and add it to the dates halwa.
