Ingredients:

• 1 – small Chicken (500 to 600 g), cut into 8 pieces
• 2 – medium Onions
• 3 to 4 – Green chillies
• 6 – Garlic flakes
• 12 – Almonds
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 1.5 tsp – salt
• For garnishing:
• Few – chopped Almonds (preferably blanched, skin removed)
• Few – chopped coriander leaves.

Method:

  1. Microwave the almonds in 1/2 a cup of water on high power for 1 minute.
  2. Remove skin and grind to a fine paste.
  3. Use little water or milk if needed, for grinding.
  4. Grind together onion, garlic and green chillies to a paste.
  5. In a dish, mix oil, onion paste and garam masala.
  6. Microwave on high power, uncovered for 4 minutes.
  7. Add chicken to the onion paste. Mix well.
  8. Microwave on high power, uncovered for 5 minutes.
  9. Dissolve almond paste in milk.
  10. Add salt and almond paste to chicken. Mix well.
  11. Microwave on high power uncovered for 6 minutes.
  12. Let it stand for 1 to 2 minutes.
  13. Serve, decorated with chopped almonds and fresh coriander leaves.
