Ingredients:

• 300 g – fish fillets
• 2 tbsp – Bengal Gram dal
• 1 – Onion
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 – Egg yolks
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil for Deep Frying.

Method:

  1. Wash and soak the channa dal for 15 minutes.
  2. Cook it with cumin seeds, green chillies, onions, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder and garam masala powder in 1 cup of water till soft.
  3. Drain and use this water to boil the fish until tender.
  4. Cool the fish and mash it well.
  5. Add the mashed fish around with the cooked channa dal and mix in the egg yolk and salt.
  6. Form into small balls.
  7. Heat the oil in a pan and deep-fry the cocktail fish kebabs till golden brown.
  8. Insert a toothpick in each kebab and serve hot at cocktail parties.
