Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Rice
• Coriander – 1 bunch
• Few sprigs – Curry leaves
• Garam Masala – Cloves, Cinnamon sticks
• 3 – Cloves of Garlic
• 2 ” piece -ginger
• 2 – Onions
• 8 – Green chillies
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• 1.5 tsp of Garam Masala powder
• Salt

Method:

  1. Make a paste of the coriander, curry leaves, chillies, ginger, garlic and half the onions.
  2. Finely chop the rest of the onions.
  3. Cook rice separately.
  4. Pour some oil and add whole garam masala, like cloves, cardamom etc.
  5. Fry the finely chopped onions, add the paste, add 1 tsp chilli powder and garam masala powder.
  6. Add salt. Fry this mixture for some time and add a little water and then add the cooked rice and mix well.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
