Ingredients:

• 125 g – Butter
• 1 cup – caster Sugar
• 1 cup – water
• 1.5 cup – self raising flour
• 1/3 cup – cocoa powder
• 1 tsp – bicarbonate of soda

Method:

  1. Grease a 23 cm dish. Combine butter, sugar and water in a large bowl
  2. Cook on high for 4 mins in the microwave.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Sift dry ingredients into butter mixture, beat with wooden spoon until smooth.
  5. Pour mixture into prepared dish, cook on high for approximately 10-12 mins or until firm
  6. Stand 5 mins before turning onto wire rack to cool
  7. Sift a little dry icing sugar on top
