Ingredients:
• 100 to 150 g – Butter
• 500 g – Ginger biscuits
• 500 ml – Cream
• 100 g – Sugar
• 4 – Bananas
• 50 g – ginger, chopped
• Juice of 1 Lemon
Method:
- Put the butter to melt in a heavy pan over low heat while you make the biscuit crumbs.
- Put the biscuits in a plastic bag and place the bag in a towel.
- Crush them with a rolling pin.
- Stir the butter into the crumbs until you have a stiff paste.
- Press the buttered crumb mixture into a circle in the middle of a dinner plate. Press down firmly. Chill.
- Whip up the cream and sugar until it holds its shape. Mix in the chopped ginger.
- Peel, scrape and slice the bananas. Turn them in the lemon juice.
- Fold them into the whipped cream and pile them onto the chilled biscuit crust.
