
Ingredients:
• 8 – Chicken wings, cleaned and patted dry
• 2 tbsp – Sesame seed oil
• 1 tbsp – dark soy sauce
• 1 tbsp – Honey
• 1.5 tsp – Chinese five spices powder
• 1.5 tsp – ground Ginger
• salt and pepper
Method:
- Blend the sauce ingredients in a fairly large dish.
- Marinate the wings in the mixture for one hour, ensuring they are completely covered with the marinade.
- Switch on the oven grill and arrange the wings on the rack of an oven pan.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill for about 5-8 minutes on each side until tender, and done, brushing occasionally with the marinade.
- Serve hot with a sweet achaar.
