Ingredients:

• 6 oz – all-purpose flour (maida)
• 6 oz – Sugar
• 4 oz – Corn or vegetable oil
• 2 – large eggs, lightly beaten
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1 tsp – baking soda
• 1 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1 – large mashed Banana
• A pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Sieve the flour and add all the dry ingredients.
  2. Make a hole in the centre and add the eggs, oil and vanilla essence and lastly add the banana. Mix it well.
  3. Pour it into a pan and bake it at 375 C for 30 – 35 mins.
  4. When it is done, just insert a fork and the fork will come clean if the bread is done.
  5. Another alternative to it is to add some nuts like pecans, walnuts etc. It gives a rich taste.
