Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 2 tbsp – fresh Ginger root, peeled and grated
• 1/2 tsp – ground cumin
• 4 cups -water
• 2 cups – basmati Rice
• 2 tsp – salt
• 1 – Lemon
Method:
- In saucepan with medium heat, heat oil until very hot.
- Add ginger root, ground cumin and cook for 1 minute.
- Add 4 cups water and bring to a boil.
- Stir in rice and salt.
- Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 to 18 mins, until all water is absorbed and rice is tender.
- Stir in lime juice.
