Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Suji
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1 cup – Milk or Milk and water
• 1/2 cup – Ghee or Butter
• 2 tbsps – Raisins
• 2 Bay Leaves
• 2 Cardamoms
• 2 tbsp any type unsalted nuts (optional).

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in pan and fry suji till brown.
  2. Add all other ingredients and stir fry till all the milk is absorbed.
  3. Remove from oven as soon as ghee comes to the surface as a slight glaze.
  4. Preferably serve hot but can also be served cold.
