
Ingredients:
• 6 tbsp – cooking oil
• 1 – medium onion, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – ginger, grated
• 1 tsp – garlic, minced
• 1 – medium tomato, chopped
• 750 g – chicken, cut into small pieces
• 2 cups – water
• Seasonings:
• 2 tbsp – Yogurt
• 4 – fresh green peppers
• 1 tbsp – Coriander seeds
• 3 cm – piece Cinnamon stick
• 6 – Cloves
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger and garlic and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces, tomato and the seasonings. Stir well and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add water. Cover and cook until the chicken is done.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
