Ingredients:
• Lauki – 1
• Black Channa – 1/2 cup
• Onion – 1
• Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
• Grated Coconut -1/3 cup
• Milk – 1/2 cup
• Salt to taste
• Cumin seed – 1/2 tbsp
• Oil – 1tbsp.
Method:
- Soak black channa for 8-10 hours and pressure cook it till it is done.
- Peel and grate the lauki.
- Heat oil in a kadai and add the cumin seeds.
- When it splutters, add the onion and fry till golden brown.
- Then add the ginger paste and fry for a minute. Add the black channa, grated gourd and salt.
- Cook it till the gourd is done.
- Then add the grated coconut and milk.
- Let it boil for a minute and remove it from heat.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
