
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Poha (thick or thin)
• 1/2 cup – Instant Oats (optional)
• 1 cup – Corn flakes
• 1 tbsp – Dried Coconut flakes
• 1 tbsp – Oil
• 1/2 tsp -Turmeric powder
• Chilli powder as per taste
• Salt as per taste
• a pinch – Sugar
• 20- 25 – Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Dry roasted slivered Almonds (optional)
• 1 tbsp – Dry roasted Peanuts
• a pinch – Asafoetida
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder and asafoetida.
- Add poha and roast on low flame for 5 minutes or until crisp.
- Add corn flakes, oats, coconut flakes, salt, sugar, almonds and peanuts.
- Mix and stir for 1 minute and turn off the heat.
- Transfer the mixture to a container and allow it to cool completely.
- Then store it in an air-tight container.
