
Ingredients:
• For green chutney:
• 1 cup – Fresh green chutney
• 3 tsp – Green Raw Mango cut into pieces
• 2 pods – Garlic
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 cup – Pomegranate seeds
• 2 tsp – Brown sugar
• Salt to taste
• For Spinach tikki:
• 1 cup – Spinach puree
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Green chilli paste
• 1 cup – Fresh bread crumbs
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• Oil for deep frying
• Salt to taste
Method:
- To prepare the green chutney: Wet grind all ingredients to a paste to obtain a thick chutney.
- To prepare the burger:
- Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Shape into tikkis to fit the size of
the burger bread. - Heat oil for deep frying and fry the tikkis 2-3 at a time till golden brown on both sides. Remove and keep aside.
- To serve: Slit the burger bun or pan into halves. Spread the chutney on both the halves, place a burger tikki in the centre and cover with another chutney layered bun.
