
Ingredients:
• 500 gms – Almonds
• 500 gms – mava
• 500 gms – Sugar
• 1.5 cups Ghee
• 10 Cardamoms
• 1 grated Nutmeg
• 2 cups – pure Ghee
Method:
- Heat half the ghee, sugar and water on a low fire till sugar melts.
- Increase the heat slowly and let the syrup boil for a few minutes.
- Add the remaining ghee and mava gradually stirring constantly.
- Add sliced almonds and pure ghee.
- Continue cooking till the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel.
- Remove from fire, add powdered cardamom and nutmeg when slightly cool.
- Spread on a greased thali and cut into squares.
