Ingredients:
• 1 bunch – pudina.
• 1/2 kg – rice.
• 1 cup – green peas, dried.
• 1 cup – grated coconut.
• 1 bunch – coriander leaves.
• 1/2 cup – oil.
• 1 – big onion.
• some sliced ginger.
• 5 to 6 – green chillies.
• vegetables (beans, carrot, round cabbage).
• 1 tsp – mustard.
• 2 tsp – salt.
Method:
- Soak the green peas overnight.
- Cut vegetables into small pieces.
- Grind chillies, ginger, pudina leaves, coriander leaves and grated coconut.
- In a cooker, heat oil and add mustard.
- When mustard splutters, add chopped onions, peas, vegetables and ground ingredients.
- Fry for a few minutes.
- Wash rice and mix with fried vegetables and water, and pressure cook up to 3 whistles.
- Serve hot.
