Ingredients:

• 2 big Corn cobs
• 1 cup Chickpea flour
• 2 tsp kasoori Methi
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 2 green chillies, finely chopped
• 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
• finely chopped coriander
• Seasoning:
• 1/2 tsp chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp sauf
• 4-5 Cloves (finely ground)
• 5-6 black peppers (finely ground)
• salt as per taste
• oil for deep frying

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix corn kernels, besan, kasoori methi, chopped onion, chilli and ginger paste with all the seasoning to make batter of thick consistency (water can be added if needed).
  2. Heat oil in a kadai to a moderate heat, spoon the batter with a tablespoon into hot oil and deep fry till it turns crispy and golden brown.
  3. Drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  4. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
