
Ingredients:
• 3 cups – cooked Rice
• 1/2 cup – Broccoli florets
• 1/2 cup – Cauliflower florets
• 1/2 cup – Carrots
• 1/2 cup – Green peas
• 1 – Celery stalk
• 1 – Potato
• 1 -tomato
• 1 -onion
• A hand full – coriander
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom seeds
• 1/2 tsp – ground Cinnamon
• 4 – whole Cloves
• 1/2 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – rasam powder
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt as required.
Method:
- In a pan heat the oil, add the cumin seeds and stir for a little while.
- Then add the cardamom seeds, ground cinnamon, whole cloves, ginger and garlic paste and stir well.
- Add all the chopped vegetables along with turmeric and fry well.
- Cover and leave it for some time until the vegetables are cooked.
- Keep the flame on a medium level.
- A little water can be added to the vegetables to make sure those are well cooked.
- When the vegetables become tender, add the green peas, coriander, garam masala, chilli powder, rasam powder, salt and stir well.
- Leave it for some time and finally add the cooked rice.
- Stir the rice so that it mixes well with the vegetables.
- Adjust salt, if needed.
- Leave the pan covered on a low flame for some time.
- Serve.
