
Ingredients:
• 500 gms – baby Potatoes
• 1/2 tsp – Haldi
• 1/2 tsp – red chilly powder
• salt to taste
• 15 to 20 – Garlic Cloves
• 2 inches- Ginger
• 4 tsp – Coriander seeds
• 4 tsp – peppercorns
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 3 to 4 tsp – oil
Method:
- Boil the baby potatoes and pierce softly with a fork.
- Grind all the other ingredients (except the oil and jeera) in a mixie to make it a soft paste.
- Now marinate the baby potatoes with this paste for about half an hour.
- After half an hour take a kadai and pour a little oil.
- Add jeera to the hot oil and when it splutters add the potatoes and fry till it attains a golden brown colour.
- Add little water to the fried baby potatoes and close the kadai.
- Put of the flame after 5 minutes.
- This can be served with hot rotis.
